We are located on Scenic HWY 268 W, 7 miles
west of the Wilkesboros NC. Take Hwy 268
west
out of Wilkesboro, go approximately 7 miles.
Turn left onto Edmiston Lane, stay to your
left, up to the Wilderness Lodge. We welcome
you to enjoy a day of paddling fun!

Grandin Road (1st bridge), to
Ferguson � 5 miles, approximate time:
1.5 to 3 hours
Ferguson has a country store with food,
drinks, and phone, � mile walk. Take out on the
left at cleared area, (large road size dirt
path). If you miss, take out at the bridge
(this would be the 2nd bridge, and is a
steep takeout).
Grandin to Keowee ramp - 15 miles
approximate time: 5 to 6 hours straight
paddling
As you enter the lake, make a right at the
lake buoy, stay right to Keowee boat ramp on
the right for take out.
Ferguson to Corp. Campground �
6.5 miles approximate time: 2 to 2.5 hrs.
You will
see camping on the right. (Fee-Corp. of
Engineers Campground)
Corp. Campground to Boat Ramp � 3.5
miles approximate time: 1 to 1.5 hrs.
As you enter
the lake, stay to your right, pass small
inlets with caution. (Keep a look out for
water craft) paddle until you see boat ramp
on the right.
Ferguson to Boat Ramp - 10 miles approximate
time: 3 to 3.5 hours
